In 1943, the Abbot Drug Company requested approval of this drug from the (FDA) for many disorders including the treatment of narcolepsy, chronic alcoholism, mild depression, and many others. It was approved in 1944 for all.

History shows us that one of the earliest and largest uses of crystal meth was during WW II the big one! The German military used these drugs in mass quantities so their soldiers would be able to fight like maniacs with little need for sleep or food.

In the 1950’s many Americans became hooked on crystal methamphetamine. It was really easy for a person to obtain this drug legally all one had to do was go to the doctor. This was the start of the first meth addiction epidemic in the United States.
