Dilaudid addiction is a growing concern

Today the price dilaudid fluctuates with the price of heroin in the United States. I know people today try to use them in place of heroin.

I was a mere 17 years old when I started using dilaudid. This was more than 35 years ago I paid around $2.00 a piece for them.

A friend of mine told me a guy was selling them next door to his shop and asked me If wanted to try them. Well you already know the answer to this one. He also informed me that you could shoot dilaudid.

I ended up buying the guys script for two years straight like around 120 of them or so a month. I used them and heroin both and basically ended up going through dilaudid withdrawal.

I snorted dilaudid at first and then I started shooting them when I no longer got the effect I wanted from snorting and I really loved the rush I got from it.

Some individuals became addicted to dilaudid in a different manner than I did. They may have got started because of an injury they sustained. This is real easy to do say that you get hurt real bad and are in severe pain and the Dr. writes you a prescription for the pain.

Cancer patients are often prescribed dilaudid for pain too. It really does not matter how you acquired your dilaudid addiction what matters is what you want to do about your problem.

If you have an a problem with this opioid drug you need to make up your mind that you want to overcome your opiate addiction.

Next I like to suggest going to NA meetings everyday. Get to know some people there and get their phone numbers these will come in handy if you get the desire to use.

When you get comfortable going to meetings and start to see how things work you will need to get a sponsor.

A sponsor will help guide you through the twelve steps. Should this not work for you I would strongly suggest that you go to heroin addiction treatment.

This will be the best thing you have ever done possibly in your life if you make up your mind to go to long term treatment.

When I say long term it means that it would be preferably 2 years. I went for 2 years and I have to be completely honest that it saved my life hands down.

Why I say that it saved my life is because I kept over dosing and ending up in the hospital with tubes in me everywhere.

I also learned a few things about how to live life and treat others. I learned to share my feelings and tell others that I was hurt.

This was all new to me I thought that men did not do that kind of thing but I learned that they do men have feelings to let me say that again in case you did not get it the first time men have feelings too.

While I was in long to treatment I had a really great therapist who I learned to trust and share my life story with. Sharing my life story the good as well as the bad gave me so much freedom that I almost floated after one of our sessions.

Check this out my therapist was a woman too imagine that talking to a lady therapist about all the bad things in your life and I had a long list.

I also went back to school and am now currently working on my bachelor’s degree in Social Work.

I am approximately two thirds of the way to finishing my curriculum. I am helping others now but it will be great to get paid to help others too.

I will leave you with this thought shooting dilaudid is basically like playing Russian roulette you never see the one coming that kills you.
